Custom metal post creation to stop a garden hose being dragged over plants

We have our garden hose reel sitting close to our house and whenever we drag the hose to use it anywhere in our yard it crosses over the plant right next to it, effectively destroying it regularly. So, we needed some sort of post installed to prevent it from happening.
We Googled “custom metal work in Langley” and ended up checking out ArmorGate.ca. Steve stopped by the next day and a few days later, voila, we got this beautifully-made custom design post installed. Now we can drag our hose freely without having to worry about breaking our plants.

We had old gates that trucks had knocked out of place and were too narrow so we had Steve come in to give us an upgrade before we paved our driveway. His suggestions and coaching through the whole procedure were spot on. He had to remove both the old gates and poles that we deeply cemented in, which he handled with presition. He then built our existing gates and assembled the entire project. We are so very happy with everything. Very easy to work with. Makes sure that you're happy with everything before moving to the next step. Highly recommend him and Armor Gates.

We have two swing gates need to be fixed and upgraded. It was complicated project as the previously installation (by other company) was not standard and a mess , also the whole communication system was like decades old. Steve and his team are very creative in resolving issues, fixed hinge problem, realigned the gates, ran new cables through new conduits, and upgraded the whole swing gate and communication system. Steve and his team did a great and high quality job, they prefer to do it right for long term sustainability rather than rushing the job which I really appreciate,. Communication is excellent and responding promptly via SMS. I would highly recommend Steve for any installation and service projects.

I had a complicated programming issue with my gate that was very difficult to solve. Steve did a ton of troubleshooting and did not stop until the problem was totally fixed. His communication responding promptly to text messages was excellent. I would highly recommend Steve and his company.

Steve and his company Armorgate exceeded our high expectations for the automated cantilevered gate that he fabricated for us. Although this was a small gate for a LaneHouse in Vancouver, we didn’t want to compromise on quality, and we didn’t want to have a gate with a track.
Steve came out and met with us, patiently listened to what we envisioned, then he came back with a detailed sketch and a plan that was perfect.
Steve’s expertise with metal and sheet metal fabrication was evident in the final product. It looks fantastic and was flawless. He insisted on returning a couple of times after the initial install to tweak the set up until it was just right.
We are so thrilled with the final product and service! We highly recommend Steve and Armorgate if you are looking for superior quality, craftsmanship and personable service.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve and his company in 2018 , while we were knee deep in our custom home project. Steve is a true artist, who takes pride in his work and it shows . We collaborated beautifully together on the design and function of our gate , he was honest and transparent throughout the entire process.
